Validity of GATE 2009 Score will be for a period of ONE YEAR ONLY from the
date of announcement of results.Pre-final year students cannot make use of the score.
How is it going to help the pre-final year students?If the aim of this move was
to help the final year students,actually it is going to trouble them.why because
if the pre-final students perform better and qualify ,it will push many of the
final year students to a low score.And pre-final students cannot make use of
their score but only to put the final year students in trouble?

so pre final students read this and dont create prblms for final year students.
may be they want some easy money...............well who knows...
I read in a newspaper(TOI) article that the IITs are considering to make M.Tech a 1yr course - as in the case of some UK universities(pls verify this). If this is true then the GATE score validity HAS TO BE OF ONE YEAR ONLY!
